HI, I AM CARLA RODNEY

I am currently a grandmother who noticed that images like me did not exist when I googled grandma. So I felt inspired to change that just to make it clear that I and grandmothers like me exist, comin in all kinds of skins. And while I was at it I thought I might share some health and well-being information aimed at supporting women who look like me. Whilst also combating some of those stereotypes around mental health and well-being.

Grandma Knows Best is a virtual space that provides free mental health resources to those who are looking for it. With my aim being to bridge the gap between availability and affordability to mental health care options. My desire is to contribute to building a community of volunteers and licensed professionals who will provide a supportive and confidential space for anyone who needs a safe space to turn to.
